IKEA sofa bed

Me and DH have been looking at www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/sofas-armchairs/sofa-beds-chair-beds/friheten-corner-sofa-bed-with-storage-skiftebo-dark-grey-spr-09133543/

We really need a sofa bed in our new house, but currently have two small children and an aging dog, so don't want to fork out a fortune for one just for it to get wrecked!

Does anyone have this as their main sofa? How do you find it? Thanks!

We do, and we love it. Comfy for stretching out on watching the telly and really comfy as a bit too. It's a great sofa

This is a fab sofa. We got ours second hand on Gumtree and it's coming up to two and a half years old but it's still going strong!

We had the version before for nearly 5 years - only got rid as it didn't suit the new house (we got 2 sofas instead).
Have a dog and it was very hard wearing but pretty comfy. The bed was ideal for the odd guest. We also used to but the bed part up for film nights!
Definitely worth the money - we gave ours away on gumtree and it orovably had a few years left in it!

We have this too! It's comfy and I'm happy with it but I think it does look a bit like a sofa bed iykwim. Overall though I am delighted and no plans to get rid. Storage but is great!

We have the Friheten and love it. Very comfy to sleep on as well but we had to get a memory foam topper for it.

As an aside, I read the op then the first reply and had to do a double take, I couldn't remember replying. Then I saw it was FallenSkies

We do and love it!! Slept on it last night after my other halves snoring kept me awake! Tempting to never have it tucked in though, always having a day bed ha

Haha, I just did the same thing fallensky, had a sudden panic I had replied twice like a looney
I have only had it since September but it is surviving my toddler well. We got it as my brother has had one for years and it has lasted him well.

I'm so glad you all gave me good reviews! It ticks all my boxes, and is cheap enough to replace in a few years when the dog is gone, and the kids can be relied upon to keep it clean! Thanks all!
