Anyone any ideas at what colour to choose to go with grey painted units & white work tops?

I'd go for something that goes with everything, the aga will probably outlast any kitchen.

I'd planned to go for a pale grey but I'm now having a wobble it might all be a bit wish washy!

I'd go for one of the strong, darker colours - claret, dark blue, British racing green or aubergine. I think they are less likely to date or look kitschy in years to come. The aga will be the focal point so the colour needs oomph imho.

yes to aubergine

Navy blue is my favourite aga colour. I like the red, but lived in a house with a red one and it did clash with colours, whereas I think the navy goes with a lot more.

PIL have a big navy one and they have wooden cupboards with white worktops and tiles. Looks lovely.

It does depend on your house though. The bolder colours tend to suit a more shaker or farmhouse kitchen style, whereas a sleek modern kitchen might look better with a lighter colour.

What colours are available? I have just bought an Everhot I a lovely sage green which would go with a lot of things, especially grey

I'd go for a claret - they're beautiful.

I'd go for a strong colour. If you go for a pale colour you might be at risk of the kitchen looking a bit clinical (I know someone who has white/grey cabinets and worktops with a beige aga and their kitchen is just begging for some warmth/colour).

Also the pale colours will look dirtier quicker!

If you love a colour then choose that one.
