Crucial Trading rugs, can we cut them up?

We have a very long rug in our living room made from Crucial Trading sisal with a border. Basically, it looks horrible - if it was cut into two smaller rugs they would work fine separately in the house.

Do you think a carpet shop would be able to divide the rug into two? I don't plan on doing it myself. Otherwise, I will have to set fire bin them but it's a tricky one as dh cannot abide waste and will not be able to bear us chucking a carpet in good condition.
