F&B - pigeon

Has anyone had experience of Farrow and Ball 'pigeon'?
Is it green?!
I bought Cromarty thinking it was going to be grey but it's like apple green In some lights. Pigeon is two shades darker and looks lovely in the swatch card but I don't think that's a true indication.
I'm spending a flipping fortune on testers at nearly £5 a pot so don't want to waste more money!
Anyone know?
Why do swatches NEVER look like the colour of the actual paint? Confused (rhetorical question/gripe, but if anyone knows I'd be very interested Grin)

I have a wardrobe painted in F&B Pigeon. It came like that.

It's a blue grey. I can post a pic if you want?

It's blue grey. I have a tester pot on my vestibule ceiling which is shortly to be painted pigeon. With drop cloth walls just in case you're interested...

I find f&b swatches very accurate but the do change according to varying daylight etc. Very clever colours

I have it in a south easterly room and it's more green than blue in there.
Definitely green in bright morning light.

This is it just now not in direct sunlight , but it's more green in real life.

I mean darker, not more green.

It's the colour in the picture first thing in the morning when it has the sunlight shining on it.

This is my wardrobe. Not great light in my bedroom currently.

It's really really green in our northwest-facing bedroom. Didn't look green on the tester patch - we were after grey-blue. We did the woodwork in it too, so no escaping the green. I quite like it now (and couldn't face redoing it) but will choose something else when we eventually come to redecorate.

Thank you all so much and sorry for my late replies as I was at work.
Just sitting in the car park outside the paint shop about to dive in and see what samples they've got in.
I'll update again tonight!

Yes it's basically dark green isn't it? But I like it... I think.
It doesn't look anything like Dave or Hey's pictures. (Nice wardrobe btw Smile)

The one above is purbeck stone which looks precisely nothing like the photos in the F&B inspiration book. It's quite... well, mushroomy

We have it on two garden benches. It's a gorgeous colour, def blue/grey.

This is the look I was ripping off going for. Complete with yellow chair.

This is purbeck but it's just not like this in our light so I don't think it'll work.
It's a basement room with quite powerful white LED lighting.

I'd give anything to employ an interior designer right now!

Also I really just want an opportunity to use the excellent word vestibule so do let us know how your vestibule ceiling turns out gin.

Haha! I will! It sounds so pretentious but I can't think of another word...

I tested it for my kitchen cupboards. It was very green in a bright south facing room. I went for Light Blue which is really greeny/grey.
