Hi I've got his pattern on my ceiling and cannot work out how to replicate it. Any ideas?

Anyone know what this artex pattern is?

I don't think I'm going to be helpful here, but why do you want to replicate it? Artex is dated and many people dislike it (plus it can contain asbestos) so getting rid of it is the usual course of action.

Because I don't mind it and I've just moved in so removing/reskimming it is not the first priority. I've had a stud wall removed from my living room and I'd like to patch the area to tide me over for a couple of years.

If you can find a plasterer who does textured plaster finishes then they can probably match it up. If you plan to skim it in a couple of years it may not be worth the expense.

That was the plan. I'll need a player to do my kitchen (where it's is coming off in chunks) so I was going to get them to skim it but the kitchen is the last job. I've got the builder here and we just can't work out the pattern. It's fine we can patch it for now and it's in the darkest corner of the room. Besides my dinner parties are not extreme enough that people end up lying in the table so no one should notice Grin

That's what I thought but it's more bare tree or veinous with lots of branching out
