Does anyone know where I can order some curtains, good quality . Looking for silver grey, floor length 260cm long 100 cm width/

I think they have to be eyelet but keep being put off by polyester or poly/cotton. Almost did these but think they will look cheap.

Polyester Jacquard Blackout - sounds horrendous as does this which with the texture looked more interesting www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pair-Chenille-CURTAINS-90x90-Silver-Grey-Textured-Luxury-Chic-RINGTOP-EYELET-/381603083220?hash=item58d950f3d4:g:UUwAAOSw3mpXEkKh

Need it to look smart and hotel boutiquey. On a tight budget and just find it awful looking. john Lewis are ridiculou prices. and most don't look chic I can't sew, so thats not an option.

Do they have to be eyelet? I don't think that style helps re looking cheap...

I've rejected curtains ordered from Dunelm - I'm expecting to hear from the today with an update. We have a very large bay window so they were not cheap. The lengths of fabric have been overlocked together instead of using a plain seam pressed open. The whole point is that joins should not be noticeable. The way these have been made means there is a thick ridge which will always be prominent. Plus the pattern matching is crap. I am so angry.

There are grey velvet from curtain makers on eBay. Agree though that eyelet curtains will not look as expensive as other styles (because they're not given that they need far less fabric).

My curtains are grey velvet from Ikea. They were very cheap (and so long that I made loads of cushions from the excess fabric), but don't look cheap because the rest of the furniture and styling looks expensive.

Have you checked Next, there are some good ones in there.

At the moment they have £20 off when you spend £50 online.

Just let me know if you want then can send you the voucher code. :)

For that length I agree IKEA is worth a look. Next won't be long enough. The IKEA Linen curtains look nice and come in silver grey (aina I think?). IMO curtains look cheap when they are not quite wide enough.

I agree, much of it is about the amount of fabric. I have two sets of the ikea curtains up on one window because whilst one set technically would have covered the space, it looked wrong. With two sets (you can't see the gap if they're hung correctly) they look luxurious.

I agree the IKEA velvet curtains are worth a look. You can hem them to the right length (slightly puddled looks more expensive IMO) or alter the length by changing the heading to pencil or pinch pleat, get a curtain maker to do it.
Add IKEA linings too to make them fuller and buy two sets for sufficient width.

Or yes get the IKEA Aina linen curtains, or others which are linen mix, these have nicer headings too so can be hemmed using hemming tape.
