I tried searching the internet for advice on a quandary but as usual I'm getting a different question answered no matter how I phrase it.
For the past few weeks I've found this forum useful for helping me make decisions on how we should decorate our new house, so I'm back to ask a question of my own...
We want to install a woodstove into the chimney of this Victorian cottage/house. We want to knock right through the back of the fireplace so the woodstove heats the rooms on both sides of the chimney (a back to back stove). The house already has radiators and an oil fired boiler but there are unsightly radiator pipes running all over the place. One of the radiators needs to be moved to allow the new kitchen to be fitted, so I was wondering if I even needed them in these 2 rooms what with the woodstove there?
Note I'm not asking if I can heat the radiators from the woodstove (this is what google thinks I'm asking). I'm just wondering if you guys think I need them in the same rooms as the woodstove?
Thanks for your opinions.
