Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good sturdy mid-sleeper with desk and storage? I've seen a few on the internet but not sure of quality.

Thanks.

I am looking too, so interested in Recs. Sorry I can't offer one myself but I am looking at either Stompa or Steens.... I only want the bed though, not the desk, etc

Which one do you like?

Hi
We have the feather and black Archie range which are really sturdy and should last a while (I hope!). We looked everywhere and couldn't see anything else that matched the quality including the john Lewis stompa range and the gltc beds. Hope it helps a bit...

My Dd has a stomp a bunk bed and Ds a stompa mid sleeper, both have got horrible brown marks on them where the sun shining through the window has done something to the wood/paint. The mid sleeper is REALLY creaky too. I wouldn't recommend Stompa at all.

Have you looked at Flexa?

We've been using Flexa beds for about 12y across 3 dc and 2 house-moves, with the beds at various heights and arrangements. They were not cheap, but are robust and have lasted very well. They're all still in use (albeit now as standard beds) and dc1 is 15yo and perfectly comfortable.

In case you're're still looking we have a stompa mid sleeper and been really pleased with it. Like the flexibility of being able to make it into bunk beds etc and really like the steps - felt they were safer than some.

Ours is just becoming outgrown, but DS is now a big nearly 12 year old!
Good luck
