recommendations for cream paint or just magnolia?

Repainting our living room, dining room and hallway, we'd picked Duluth magnolia but there are 100s of shades of cream at homebase I'm overwhelmed and now second guessing the choice. So what colour is your living room? :)

Mine is lemon yellow, looks lovely on a sunny day. I was once told that magnolia is actually on the colour chart for beige (ie. Its a very light brown) which means that in shadow it can be quite brown looking, rather than other variations of cream. This might be worth experimenting with, especially if you have a room with alcoves/other nooks which will be quite dark with magnolia. I find magnolia saps the light in my house and we switched on the stairs to a similar shade, but cream rather than magnolia and it was so much brighter.

A lot of our house has been recently redecorated and we chose Timeless too. It's a lovely colour that's not too white or creamy.

I've used "Nude Glow" a lot. I think it's by Dulux. It isn't a yellow cream and seems to be a nice "clean" colour.

We have timeless in our hall stairs and landing and we are about to pair it with a soft pale grey in the kitchen diner. I would class it as a soft off white rather than a cream colour.

Another Timeless fan here. Everyone I recommend it to becomes a convert. I refuse to accept its on the Magnolia spectrum though!

We've just used dulux chalky downs and it's lovely. We had off white which was a bit boring and this is still bright but much warmer

I've just had my new house painted compleatly magnolia I'm sorry but for me nothing comes close to how lovely and warm magnolia looks as long as rooms are accessorised with other colours it doesn't look boring at all- everybody says how much they love my house! Kitchen is natural calico wich looks great and chic shadow (grey) in bathroom

I wanted a single cream colour that came in both a regular silk emulsion and bathroom/kitchen version for my small flat and was also possible to buy as a gloss. Ended up with b&q colours ivory and even using it now in new house - but teaming it with some bolder colours as house is now large enough to take some more colour.

I love timeless, most of our house is painted in it. It's clean and bright but also quite warm, depending on the light it changes a bit.
