Mauve curtains... please inspire me!

We've decided to move the living room curtains into our spare bedroom. They are from Next in a mauve colour similar to these but with no pattern (completely plain)...

They don't seem to sell the exact ones I bought anymore. Infant, my ones are more mauve... more a dusky colour if that makes sense?

Anyway, the room is pretty much a blank canvas. The carpet is a dark beige (called 'pebble') and the walls are almond white.

I like the modern country style and the scandi style. We already have quite a lot of eau de nil down stairs and our bedroom has a lot of light grey in it. So would rather avoid these 2 colours in the spare room.

What would you recommend for bedding in the spare room? Any direct links to specific bedding would be great. I'm sort of reaching 'inspiration fatigue' as we have had to renovate our entire house after the flood. But would still like our spare room to have a bit of a 'wow' factor!

Quite like yellow... but is that a bit mental?!

I think mustard yellow would be nice?
Or a dark purple

I would recommend looking at the Hilden style guide - where you can see all the 2016 trends & design ideas that boutique hotels use ;

Dunelm have two types of mauve curtains, both eyelet. One is a rich chenille and another a crisp cotton. Personally. Love the Laura Ashley amethyst curtains too. Make it look opulent by adding a Roman blind at the window. Cream and mauve work well together. Eau de nil would be lovely for the walls, with that colour scheme, with magenta accessories or a big magenta throw.

I would go for a nice crisp white duvet set, maybe with some woven pattern/design to give a bit of interest, and then a purple or silver throw.

There are quite a few patterned sets on Next website that wold tone with those curtains if you prefer that www.next.co.uk/g57254s3#117734
