What are we thinking about glitter wallpaper at the moment? I think it's lovely but scared it might be tacky. I'm also liking the glitter pelmets for Windows to match. Any opinions? Naive or naff ? Confused

My DM has it and it is all kinds of tacky in my opinion.

Go for what makes you happy though. Fuck it. She hates my decor.

Sounds ah-maz-zinnnng. I'm jealous and would like some too! However, wallpaper and by the Windows may be a little OTT

Personally I think it looks fabulous! I have it in our bedroom (grey room and it's behind the bed) and livingroom 😀

My hall stairs and landing have glittered paper. It's cream stripes, and it's only the darker cream stripe that has the glitter so it's quite subtle.
I love love love Chester's walls though!

We have glitter wallpaper in our hall, you can see it during the day but twinkles at night. I love it and so do the DDs.

daftlemon it's glitter wallpaper but I noticed the other day that b&q had glitter paint 😄 Think it was dulux!
My paper is from a company called Glam interiors, the grey is called charcoal and the white is alpine snow.
I want it in every room but DH has put his foot down and said no more sparkle!!

Chester on the that website it's referred to as 'wall covering' rather than wallpaper, and says it is fabric backed and needs to be professionally installed... Can you tell me, is it easy ish to put up, or did you pay a professional??

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you!
It is a fabric and I did pay to have it put up (think it was £50 on top of product price) but it looks easy and the decorator said loads of folk buy it and do it themselves , you just have to buy their adhesive and cut with a fresh Stanley blade each cut. There are you tube videos showing what to do.
B&q also have a glitter paper, but I think it's only in silver, gold and pink.

Fab... Suspect I'll be getting that for a wall in DDs bedroom, she'll adore it!

We have a room which we're going to turn into a utility room. It has 1970s tiling on the walls and floor, I was just going to paint the floor ones white but now am seriously considering a coat of glitter on the top... The room's quite small, but it's the only place in the house I think I'll be able to get away with glitter paint!

Noooo! Unspeakably naff. I'd imagine a footballer's house to have this.

I love sparkles! Do it, if it will make you smile :)

It's only wallpaper after all, not a permanent condition. In two years if you don't like it, you can change it...

I love it when people out their own stamp on their homes.
