We're decorating our whole house and need inspiration for nearly every room, mainly the living room at the moment.

This is my living room.

I like a lot of colour and mix of styles though, which I know is not to everyone's taste!

We're only a few months into a major project here so haven't done much actual decorating yet. I've added pics of our hall that doubles as a breakfast room (we actually have two hallways one in the original 1853 house and one in the 1920s extension so this isn't as bad as it sounds!) and the ground floor sitting room. The latter was done as a temporary fix when we first moved in till I get round to removing the acres of woodchip that cover every surface here the bloody PO even applied it to the underside of shelves inside built in cupboards!

The last one is our upstairs TV room (snug) - the former master bedroom. It's a lovely room with window seat overlooking the garden but it's not decorated yet as we have structural work going on.....

Our bedroom and kitchen. These rooms are a bit more 'country' style but still quite colourful! We're going to be putting the place on the market soon, and I reckon it's going to be a real 'marmite' house.

Our decorating/furnishing taste is definitely 'marmite' too Dave! Amongst other things we have a collection of taxidermy butterflies - used to have over 200 frames till we downsized - currently residing in our pre-refit family bathroom

The sofa is a reupholstered one from the 1960's and it weighs an absolute ton. I'm dreading the day we have to move it again!!
