please please help me decide on sofa

Ok so I have a grey carpet, timeless dulux paint on three walls I am getting this wallpaper on one wall .... Which colour of couches would you get?

The first colour. I don't really think the 2nd one goes very well at all and it would all be very greyish. The black would stand out a lot better and provide a bit of contrast.

I have a black tv unit and a black rug so don't want to go too black either lol. I'm rubbish at these things would love an interior designer

I used to be an interior designer and I think the black sofa would be fab, all you need to do is to add some accent cushions to break up the blackness

I would honestly not do either colour, and I have a grey sofa in a grey room! We can't paint as we rent, but I wish our sofa were navy or even better a deep berry shade

Boring point but black will show everything. Do you have pets or dc?

I would do white but obviously black is more practical

I have a cat and a 10 month old! I'm thinking I may go with the grey/silver as black will show up a lot. I can understand getting a colour but I've had my heart set on it being grey/black/white or cream X

Dame dancealot do you think I could get away with accent cushions to break up the greyness?

Hillbil that could work as well, if you have a tk maxx near you, they do very good ranges of cushions, very reasonabl priced. Buy a couple and try on your couch and send me a photo if you like and you can always return them

I would avoid the black with a cat and a baby

Think the black will be too dark and the grey would be too much grey - personally I would go for a bright colour (pink!) or yellow or if you could find a patterned grey with another colour mixed in?

I don't like either and I really don't like the fabric ; it will be snagged to buggery with a cat and will date in no time

get yourself some paint shade charts from B&Q and try a different colour; blackberry or a deep wine would look classier in my opinion but a different fabric

Well this is how the living room ended up. Just need a few accessories and pictures but I'm very happy with it
