Help need blinds and fittings no idea where to start!

I've just moved house.

Sitting room has a big bay window looking out into the street.

Previous owners took the blinds and fittings. We really do need a window covering asap.
I have some blinds from a previous home which I like, I think they could be used for the two 'end panels'. I also have sufficient fabric left over which I think could be used to make the middle section. Unfortunately I'm no seamstress!

Can anyone advise as to what I should do? I feel like I paid way over the odds the last time I had blinds made and fitted (over £1,000).

Can I buy and fit the fittings myself? Has anyone had blinds made without it costing the earth?

I've just bought 5 made to measure blinds from Tuiss (online). Cost £300 for all of them and they provide unlimited free samples.

I've just paid £400 for my blinds, including fitting. That was for 1 wide slat wooden Venetian, 2 aluminium Venetians and 2 roller blinds. Homefair is the company I used.

Go to a local blind company, we had perfect fit blinds in a box bay with french doors, so 4 windows and 2 full length doors plus an extra window in the lounge and it cost under £600.

We have had roller blinds from them too. Bargain.

Should have said they measure and fit them.

Normally we buy made to measure roller/horizontal venetian/roman blinds online and fit them ourselves. But the perfect fit ones were just too precise for us to measure so we got the local company out.

The roller blinds were for a previous house where we had a conservatory and we didn't know how to drill into a upvc frame (many many years ago now but same company did those)
