What art do you have on your bathroom walls?

I'm bored with my house, haven't decorated for a while and have no money!

What do you have on the walls in your bathroom/WC? At the moment I have a mass produced canvas from Wilkinson's or similar, but fancy something more individual. I was thinking I might put up a photo collage, but tbh I only have lots of photos from when dd was tiny, not so many more recent ones and few of all of us, we don't really take holidays, so not many photos of that sorry.

I'd be happy if I could find an interesting reasonably priced print/poster that will for in a cheap Wilkinson's frame. I love paintings of mermaids e.g.

Toilet - a crayon drawing of an Inca cat/ monster/ beast I bought in Peru.
Bathroom - random stains from the bath crayons.

At least there's a theme.

I have Bob olleys Westoe netty. It always makes people smile because of what's going on in it.

Bathroom - a teal ceramic dolphin, about 10" long. No pictures, I think steam would ruin them.

I have two caricatures that a guy drew of me when I was at work once. They are framed and hang above the toilet.

I went for a cliche seaside theme. The bathroom is mint with white tiles. I have a mini red and white life ring on the wall with HMS 'StayGoldFamilyName' on which is quite sweet, a ceramic red and white striped masted yacht, a really cool line drawing on acrylic board of a row of beach huts that my lovely niece made us, and sand and shells in bottles, with lots of wood and wicker. No 'art' like framed art though. The bathroom is mostly tiles so I couldn't hang it anywhere I'd want to.

Thanks for the replies.

I spent all last night on eBay! I don't really know what to search for Confused

I can't go for the beach hut look, my mum has that.

Ooh I've seen a mermaid print I really want, it's vintagey and related to music and about 7 quid. I'm going to try and remember what the bloody hell it was!

Bathroom has white suite and tiles and pale blue walls and grey slate floor tiles and grey towels. We have a map of the UK made up in words of town places ( grey) in a white idea frame. Got map print from Bodie and Fou.

Jenda, that would be great if you could remember where you saw it!

Forgot to mention before, our bathroom and WC currently have yellow walls, downstairs has beige/brown vinyl, bathrom has "swimming pool look" turquoise vinyl! I'm thinking of painting them soon, would like to go for white or pale turquoise, but doubt the yellow will cover well Sad Also don't want it to look too cold.

Dh rubbish at DIY and I'm no better, so no blinds in bathroom - he says he can't put them up because the walls are tiled and he's not drilling into tiles! I can't afford to pay someone to do it and don't think drilling into tiles is a good way to practise drilling for me! You see what I'm up against ....?

Nothing but I'd love a really loud mural. Smile

Maybe one of those vintage posters, like the 'Come to Bridlington!' type you get?

Or I like this.

Thanks. I love the FabFunky prints, found a seahorse I quite like on the site.

I do like vintage posters too, but not prints that look like children did them Blush

I googled for images I liked, seaside theme, ordered prints and framed them with cheap Wilko frames. I like them and they're different.
