Bedding help!

Hi we've just had some fitted draws and wardrobes done in our bedroom and now need to decorate!! I'm thinking if keeping the walls neautral and getting some nice bedding and curtains (we've 2 windows). I love the harlequin leaf bedding (not sure how to link!!!) but my DH says it's to pricy and doesn't want to pay that much tight wad I keep going round in circles and nothing really stands out. I was hoping some one knew of some fabulous bedding out there that I just keep missing Grin

Does it have a throw cover/bed cover. So you could have cheaper plain bedding but have the throw over the bed to get the effect.

I'm also looking and have been a while a couple of years. I'm liking this black baroque flock set at the moment with white/ivory walls and a black sticker on the wall behind the bed. But I probably change my mind in a couple of weeks.

Is this the one you want to try to get similar to?

That's the one, I quite like that it's not to feminine. The idea of a throw over cheaper bedding is a really good idea but the throw is £195 Shock
I keep looking at next hoping something will jump out at me as it's so reasonable priced and know there will be curtains to match the colours. But nothing does!

ha ha - I just checked out next too but there was nothing in the same vein at all - Now I know that's the one you were looking at, I'll see what I can see :)

Wow Thankyou you've given me lots to look at there. I think I keep struggling with the fact that duvet covers don't come with pillow cases anymore, I find it really odd Confused

Wow, that's gorgeous!

Sorry, no help!!

Actually, looking at it, the throw is the yellowy thing, isn't it? That's what makes it really special, I guess the duvet on its own wouldn't be quite as nice....

I agree about the throw - I'm going to get plain white sheets and then am sewing an indigo coloured throw from some blankets DH brought back from Africa.

The expensive ones don't, the cheaper ones still seem to come in a set. Might be worth keeping an eye on Achica too?

I can't decide whether this one is quirky and retro or completely naff :o

very cheap though!

Do you need double or king?

Have a look on "just linen" for some nice discounted ones.

It's a double we need, I like that Sheridan one but it's a king. The Harry Corry one is a sanderson double!!! I like the sanderson dandelion ones but we have similar wallpaper in the living room. I do also love orla keily but to expensive for tight DH. Maybe I should just bend the truth on how much bedding costs Grin

Have you tried homesense or tkmaxxor boundary mill if there is one near you.

All stock harlequin, beldorm and other expensive bedding much cheaper as they are last seasons design.
