Range cooker advice - SMEG Victoria (new in 2012) or Rangemaster

Hi

We are getting a new range cooker and are torn between the SMEG Victoria , the Rangemaster Classic Deluxe or the Rangemaster Elan. All have done well in the Which guide this year. I have read some negative reviews on SMEG in the past and was wondering if anyone has tried the latest one. We are looking at the 110 size.

Any advice would be much appreciated - it is hard to find any reviews which compare these. Thanks in advance - Earhat

I have had two different smeg range cookers,and a smeg fridge freezer.
Total and utter crap. Really. Really shite.

I have a Smeg 110cm range, about 3 years old, have had the repair man out 4 times for issues with the ovens. I don't think I'd buy another

Thanks girl - just trying to decide between the Élan and the Classic Deluxe 110 now. Smeg really don't seem popular with mnetters.

I loved my Smeg cooker - looked great and was lovely to cook with - BUT the oven did break really quickly. Has put me right off.
