Bright colour to go with cream and brown?

We are currently redecorating and have sorted all the rooms out but struggling with the lounge. Going with cream walls and a feature wall in a toffee brown colour, chocolate and cream accessories but want to inject a little colour as i think it will look better. Thinking lime green but unsure. Was orange and red before so was hoping to steer away from either of those. Any other ideas?

Absolutely lime green. Maybe I'm biased I have this in my lounge it looks lush and the perfect injection of colour or try duck egg blue? I would use a cold color myself as will balance out the colours of the natural warmth. Good luck!

I was going to say red or orange.
Purple? Brown and cream are neutral enough that they will take pretty much any bright accent colour.

My first thought was turquoise. Lime green would be awesome!

You could try teal and duck egg blue which are my favourite colours or perhaps plum or aubergine which would also compliment those colours well. Grey, pewter or silver could be nice giving a very modern contemporary look

Thanks everyone, everything seems to be red and orange on the home websites and struggling to find lime green. Other shades of green but prefer bright lime. Have seen turquoise though so that could be a good back up and not a colour i've had before either.

Have bought the knitted look chocolate cushions so far and was hoping to find some lime green mongolian type cushions or something as modern and then maybe add a cream one or two.

Need vases too but may get black like the sofa and fill with the colours instead.

It always seems to be the same, can find enough red and orange to fill twenty rooms but been searching for ages and nothing standing out.

I like a rich raspberry colour. Our living room is this scrumptious www.crownpaint.co.uk/en/range?rangeGroup={3E883E3B-DB73-4291-8BCA-179083D9734C}&finishID=Matt

Goes great with cream and brown which we also have

We have an ikea about an hour away, not been in ages. Love the pink and raspberry but gone for those our bedroom and wanted all the rooms a different style if possible.

Nice to have ideas from others, been staring at the same websites for days and got nowhere.

They are pretty good for inspiration

I think this pinkish one is pretty. I found it on design seeds. Going to use it for my bedroom.

I like the green version too.

Lime green with toffee walls, seems to go really nicely. See the 2nd pic doen. The site has several lime green/brown living rooms looks on the same page.

Thats a great site, thank you. Love green rug, its like a piece of grass indoors. Have recorded SCD to watch later so can sit and have a good look through.

The teal is nice too and a colour i would never have thought of.

Another vote for lime green here! I used it in my last house as the accent colour in my lounge and got a lot of compliments on it!

Noooooo

Add some light grey keep it neutral, and them maybe a suttle warm orange, maybe a sunset picture, and for your green add a plant, spider plant or whatever, maybe a sunset over deep blue water, then youll have a good balance of color

Black is also a nice addition, its about adding different colors that dont clash, when you have browns whites, creams, greys n wood, everything can blend without being offensive, then all you need is little touches of colour, as I said a plant or picture, so many rooms nowdays are so overwhelming and chaotic
