not a massive room but largish in the world of downstairs Lois and longish and narrow. we will have the floor from the hall coning in so wood or laminate hopefully a dark colour and we will have a white loo and basin. not a lot else. I'm reluctant to go with white just cos it is easy tho.

Oak floor, White T&G at low level, White Walls and Royal blue glass tiles. It's only tiny but looks crisp & smart.

Terracotta floor, cream walls, metal curtain pole, sheer curtain and shit loads of harry potter memorabilia.

Loo and stuff is white.

White.

I'm thinking of painting the lower half light blue, a red thin line half way up and then white. Sort of like a boat! Blush Confused :)

White, white white! And very boring. Actually there is a little grey pattern on some of the tiles. It's a tiny room (ex cupboard) so limited scope. If it was me decorating it I would have out a bit of colour in it. Some blue/green (like the sea) in the tiles or something but it was like that when we moved in so can't do much with it as its all tiles. Laminate floor though.
Thinking of getting an interesting mirror though, seahorse or birdcage or...?

Loo & sink - white
Paintwork - something from the neutral range which is a v pale purple toned brown
Tiles behind loo & splash back : chocolate with copper and gold running through
Dark grey floor tiles

This probably sounds gross written like this, but it really is lovely.

Cheap yellow laminate floor, very busy brown and orange 70s style wallpaper on all four walls, kind of an unripe avocado green yellow toilet and basin. A tiny room with a big fat radiator cover behind the door so that you have to squeeze in.

I am all for a bit of retro revival but this is Not Good.

Almond white paint I think, with boring travertine tiles and quartz worktop. The paint colour is the nicest bit.

Our walls are red. Almost a post box red. Blind, toilet, sink and lino are all white. Shelves are white. Towel rail is silver. Floor mat (which we haven't bought yet) will be white.

Mine's Farrow and Ball 'Clunch' on the walls. We have tongue and groove wooden paneling half way up the walls and it is painted in Farrow and Ball 'Bone'.

Floor is a grey stone tile.

Encyclo .. I read that as clunge

We have a few downstairs loo's

All have white sanitary ware.

One has light grey walls and those what my dh delightfully describes as urinal tiles (ie brick shaped)

The one nearest the playroom is covered in old copies of the beano (totally outs myself there)

One is a pretty much exact copy of the loos at our old favourite bar (random smashed tiles in a mosaic pattern which was hideously expensive to recreate .. A totally "I saw you coming" moment

The final one is just off the hall so the one most guests use that's pretty dull paleish greeny grey which seems to be a generic thing .

labootin I fancied pasting pages out of copies of my favourite books in my downstairs bog. Did you use just normal wallpaper paste? Was it hard? Did the pages rip easily?

I had book pages in my loo in my old house.
Normal wallpaper paste, old books from charity shop, easy to do but a bit of a faff as its so many individual bits.
One was a book of random facts/funny true stories and you could hear visitors chuckling when they were in there.

Yeah I've been collecting old copies of books so I don't use my own! I ought to get down to it and do it.

Bare brick walls, bottom half of the walls are painted white.

Concrete floor.

No door.

It's in the garden.....we do use it in times of emergencies.

No books in mine, they'd get damp.

There is a sledge, a bike rack, a bin of animal feed and my icy tek.
