A little get away by train

Does anyone know a good little 4 day getaway that's easy to get to by train?

We've got a two year old and would love to go somewhere this year, however we don't drive so we need somewhere we can get to by train/bus.

We would be travelling from Liverpool.

We had a really good car-less holiday with small children in Matlock Bath in Derbyshire. The train from Derby took about half an hour.
As well as visiting the aquarium and spending a whole day at Gulliver’s Kingdom, we took a cable car up to Heights of Abraham for the views, and our ticket also gave us entry to two caverns. You can also hunt for fossils and there are two adventure playgrounds.
We also rode the steam train from Matlock to Rowsley and back. The journey itself was beautiful and the dc enjoyed the steam train! While we were there we did a spot of shopping and had cream tea!
We found a nice little playground in the centre of Matlock with a boating lake, riverside walk, miniature railway, cafe and playground with splash park.
