(2 Posts)I would contact booking.com and inform them about this owner's behaviour.
I have booked a house in France in August through Booking.com.
The owner called me the other day to request that I contact my home insurance provider and ask them to extend my insurance so that I am covered for any breakages while in their house. This seems really odd to me and I would have thought that they should have their own insurance. Is this common in France, I have never come across this before...
She also now wants me to give her a 25% security deposit in case of breakages when I arrive, which was not mentioned when I booked.
It all just seems a bit odd to me.
