(5 Posts)Frequent bus opposite went into Dubrovnik centre and was cheap.
WE went to somewhere called valamar President hotel. There were several hotels in same resort area. Ours was lovely, beachside, big pool etc. Our room had a downstairs area with sofa bed, then a bedroom upstairs and an odd suspended bathroom. Huge balcony too.
I am thinking of Croatia this summer - split and Dubrovnik as a 2 centre holiday. Dubrovnik has gone up in price due to its link with Game of Thrones. we are considering an airbnb on the edge of split as the cheaper option.
Hello - last time I asked mumsnet for hotel advice, I couldn't have had better recommendations. So hoping it works a second time!
We are planning a week's sailing holiday in Croatia next summer and want to spend a second week in a nice hotel. We have 2 boys aged 11&13 and want them to be happy too - swimming pool, easy access to beach and perhaps some other sporting options. Food is really important so would like hotel to have good restaurant or be with in easy reach of town / restaurants. Don't want to spend silly money but we have a fairly healthy budget.
Thanks in advance!
