DD1 would have died pre-modern medicine. Who knows where any of us would be if not for immunisation, surgery, antibiotics etc.

I have pretty good rights; can work, marry, divorce, vote, attend school etc which has not always been the case.

Yeah there was cool stuff going on before, but in the background was smallpox...

WW2 . I know it was hard. Very hard, but the way people pulled together, supported each other, looked out for each other is truly inspiring. The bravery shown by normal people, every day is incredible.

I like 1950's, the hats, gloves, skirts. You had electrical appliances. People didn't lock their doors.

Early human society, hunter gatherer. But I'd really like to analyse the progression of human nature from the hunter gatherers to civilisation to see if a theory I have has any foundation.

I'd go with a Victorian gent too. Very rich one. I wouldn't mind being a Victoria lady (also very rich) but it strikes me as a tad boring and all that bother about marrying right would be stressful.


Tudor time is another time that really interests me, though seeming it was probably a bit smellier and it strikes me there was a better chace of dying I'm opting for Victorian times
