So I completed my first year degree in early childhood studies with the OU. In the 2nd year I was hoping to continue at a brick uni. Everything seems a struggle at the moment with my mental health due to covid and also because everything is going wrong in terms of my DBS applivation etc which I filled out wrong so have to do again. It's getting to the point where I'm considering stopping all together or to continue part time with the OU instead. Just don't think I'm cut out for it. Plus me and my partner and trying for a baby at the moment so I think that's why uni has taken a back burner. Just head is all over the place and not knowing what to do is awful. Any opinions would be appreciated.

OU would give you continued flexibility that would help while pregnant/with newborn. I’d stay there in your shoes.

Uni has support, use it. Tell someone there. The DBS application is just a bump in the road, you've redone it, it'll take a while and then will come back and if all is OK you'll be off for the excitement of Yr 2..id stay. Uni and life is hard. Go for it see what happens.. Fun and excitement
