Now we know where DS is going, what halls would be best. If it is near his place of work, is it remote from the social side. Banging head here.

Not sure but did he bring back an accommodation booklet after his interview in his pack? Dd did after her architecture interview there and it had all the different halls there and how far they were by foot/bus from the different campuses.

I know dd had her eye on some halls pretty close to the broadcasting tower but has now decided against Leeds. A friend of mine has a dd at Leeds Beckett (not architecture) and said not to pick the halls which I think are by the canal because there's no social space and she's found it quite isolating. It's literally bedrooms and kitchens. So everyone just stays in their rooms, which is something I hadn't thought about.

Carnegie is good, walk into Headingley is easy and plenty of buses to town.

Have not seen an accommodation booklet, it is all on line anyway. He will be on the city campus we have now established. Working in the broadcasting tower, they call it the rusty something apparently.
