Ds is there. Loves it. It’s doing really well in The Times uni league.

I think its the top new university out of the ex-polys. A family member has just started there and loves it. DS has it down for his insurance and i called up the dept to enquire about something, although didn't get to speak to anyone. The head of dept rang me back the following day and i was well impressed.
Family member also tells me its a lovely campus like and american university. Standards are high judging by their entry requirements so i'd say definitely go for it or consider it.

I've no experience of this particular course however I have been involved in an academic capacity with other programmes at NTU and they were excellent. The care and attention which went into feedback and assessments was really noticeable- students seemed to be very well supported to learn.

We went today. City campus great but clifton campus felt claustrophobic. Shame the course ds wants would be at clifton.

We were there, too! DS has grumped his way round various Open Days but preferred this one to any others. He liked the proximity to town which set it apart and the accommodation was the nicest we have seen. Bloody expensive, though!

The lecturer was called Dr Love Grin

Would he be at city campus? Dd felt clifton was too remote! She loved city though.

If it helps, one of its alumni is CEO of one of the UK's largest companies - Dave Lewis, CEO of Tesco.

My DD went to its sister university, Nottingham University, and had an absolutely tremendous time there.
