Do you have to pay to submit a UCAS application?

DS thinks the school pay because it goes through the school. But I have heard people talking of paying, different amounts depending on the number of Universities you list?

£24 . Dd paid when she submitted it for the school to add reference.

The applicant pays not the school

For DS1, we paid UCAS direct when he was ready to submit his choices and personal statement and the school then accessed the form, added the reference and submitted the completed application. (same as LIZS).

DD's school does it differently, asking for payment to them via ParentPay by the end of this month. (DD hasn't actually finished her PS yet. Nor, for that matter, chosen her final five universities, still havering over which 'safety net' to include).

If the applicant only wants to list one uni it's £13, otherwise £24.
