Need says advice please. I am a FT carer and have been for 15 years, therefore have not worked but have tried to gain as many qualifications as possible from home. I did 2 OU degrees, one in humanities and the other in Crimino!ogy. DD is now being offered a d at centre for several days so I've been thinking of doing postgrad in eit her 'Violence, Terrorism and Global Security' or LLM in hUman Rights. The LLM sounds a bit more of a 'solid' qualification but I don't really know what it involves or how hard it would be without the LLB. Both courses would be at a red brick RG uni and I got a 1st in Criminology if it is relevant. It is unlikely that I will work FT ever so I have no intention to get into Law, but am interested in human rights and do some related voluntary work.
Any advice appreciated as to which might be more useful? How hard is a LL M without the LLB?
