Just that really!
I’m a mature student doing a foundation degree. I have my first assignment due in next week and I feel like I’m making good progress. It has just dawned on my that it’s past 2pm and I have been sat working at my laptop since 9am!!
I’ve completed I’d say a good 70% just need to update my reference list and rearrange some content so the flow is better.
I think I have earned a little break so I’m having a cup of tea and a chocolate orange cookie :)

You're much more productive and motivated than I am! I'm not quite a mature student, just made the cut off point. Currently on an Access course to hopefully proceed to uni and I have four essay drafts due in next week. I finally sat down to do some work today but got distracted and have been procrastinating. Your amazing progress has given me the kick up the arse I need to really get on with my work.

I did an access course last year, it was hard work but I loved it. I don’t think I’ve ever worked that hard, lots of different modules at the same time!
Glad I gave you some motivation and I’m sure you’ll get those drafts done in no time :)
Good luck

2nd year undergraduate mature student. Essay due in 5 weeks and only sorted out a plan for it today. Should have looked at one due in two weeks instead, but unsure how to proceed or tackle it!!

I'm a first year undergraduate student. Loving it so far but am finding it tough fitting everything in and need to work on my writing style.

What are you all studying?

Mumoffour, not sure if this will help at all but I make a plan, bullet point what I want to include in the order I think I’ll be writing. Keep a running reference list as I go, find it saves a lot of time not scrabbling to fill in citations at the end.
Once I’ve got the bullet points in the order I think is right I write and write, usually it doesn’t make a great deal of sense, but having something on paper makes it’s easier to remove or add to.

Laurz, I’m year 1 FdA Counselling how about you?
