This time last year we were waiting for DD2 A level results, she was desperate to get the results she needed for her firm offer. Unfortunately she didn't get the results she needed and was very disappointed and uoset. However, shes enjoying life and doing very well at a different uni and has often said that shes so glad that fate chose a different uni for her. For all those children who are disappointed this morning- things will iften work out better than you think!

That's so kind and great to hear - I've never been so nervous! Just praying my son's choice will let him in even if he's missed a grade or two.

Another one here saying it's just another path not the end of the journey.

Youngest has go into 1st choice re UCAS track today - yay!!

BUT

eldest now 24 desperate for Oxford ( and academically well capeable it now transpires - their loss). Didn't get an offer. Went to another red brick uni. Loved it. Won
Department and faculty prizes and is now doing a funded PhD in an arts subject ( funding is very rare in arts)

DSS last year achieved his insurance choice even though he didn't meet his actual insurance offer.

He too is enjoying himself at Queen's Belfast reading geography.

Older DS repeated year 12.

Life may take you down different paths to what you expect but many get where they wanted to be eventually or are happier doing something they never considered doing.

Good luck to everyone today.
