receipt of references on track

Does anyone know if track lets you know that they have received your references please?

DS has applied to UCAS for conservatoires. The deadline (recommended date for receipt of references?) is Oct 30th. DS knows that his academic reference has been sent as his teacher told him, but hasn't heard from his other referee yet. The deadline is close...

Bumping my own thread Blush

DS' music referee has been known to leave things till the last minute. DS is sweating over this. What if he leaves it too late.

Since asking for a reference DS has done some relevant stuff - DS was wondering if he could tell his referee about these things with a view to including them in his reference, - ie prompt his referee to do his reference without directly asking IYSWIM.

I thought you only needed one reference was needed for UCAS and all relevant information was supplied by the tutor doing the reference.
It's sent with the application to UCAS

I can't help specifically with a conservatoire application. But I could definitely ask him to include stuff that you couldn't fit onto PS. DD's teacher asked her what she wanted included, as she struggled to fit on all the extra stuff she had done into PS. Is this a private teacher or in school? 30th October is on Sunday so you can't wait for DS to go back to school. I would want to know it had been sent if I was you, can't you contact him and ask.

Thanks for the link. UCASfor conservatoires accept applications without references as long as the referees have been named. References are due in to each institution by 30th October.

That's really kind of you. I really hope this particular referee is remembering to do the reference.
