When does the maintenance grant get paid?

I know it gets paid 3 times a year but dozy DD has lost the letter telling her when the winter and spring payments go in. She therefore doesn't know how long her current payment needs to last!

Thanks

She can log in to her student finance account and see it there.

Do you mean maintenance loan? I think the grant has gone - although it may still be available for existing students who used to receive it. Look on the Finance England web site. Bound to have the details.

Thanks Squirrils, I have passed that info onto her.

Thanks Bojo, yes I did mean the maintenance loan. My terminology is stuck in the olden days!

My DS got first instalment in bank today, he had looked up dates and amounts on Student finance website a few weeks ago.

Mine are being paid September/January/May

It doesn't usually go in until the University has confirmed the students attendance.
For example it might say on the students account that the loan is paid on the 4th September but if the Student doesn't start university until 12th September it won't actually be paid to the student before then
