student maintenance loan

Hi all, my son is going to uni in London in Sept and needs a maintenance loan to pay for Halls rent etc. I am not working at present even though Student Finance asked for last years tax details. I am concerned he will not get this loan. Should I call them? Also he has gone through clearing and I'm concerned about whether any rooms in the halls will still be available. Please help.

Has he not applied at all yet?

I think but may be wrong that if earnings change by more than 15% they will re-assess

Gaslight is correct, you/he must let them know that your earnings have changed asap.
