Still not had confirmation but we've phoned again & told the forms from clearing are passed to admissions so fingers crossed he hears in the morning

It's a foundation course at one of his original 5 choices - seems like the best option for him at the moment - time will tell if it's the right decision

Hairy hang in there, it will all come good and you will will see it on UCAS track in the next day or so.

Working on the University side of Clearing, I was told today that there are various centralised time-slots in which UCAS is updated with all changes made before the cut-off time - so if new offers are submitted to the system by x time, then the update shows for the student at 3pm, everything submitted after the first time but before the next deadline shows at 7pm, etc. So there may well be a delay, which is nothing to worry about - UCAS just hasn't hit the next update time yet. Hope that's reassuring!

Thanks it's been a particularly stressful day & just want to get everything in place so we can start planning for actually leaving to go to uni! I'm sure the next few weeks will pass in a heartbeat!

You could google the university + student room + clearing and see if anyone else has had their offers confirmed.

I'd phone in the morning just for peace of mind. It's best to get it sorted ASAP so you can sort out accommodation.
