Hello all. It's very likely my dd will be going through clearing this week after A level results. Has anyone got any advice about how best to do this? She has downloaded the Daily Telegraph clearing app and is looking at alternative courses but that is about it. Thanks

The Student Room have sensible advice in their articles (the comments from students are sometimes less useful) and it looks as though they are offering a potentially really helpful service where they will email you details of suitable courses in clearing as they become available the link is here

I wouldn't rely on it exclusively. But it might be a helpful addition.

Sorry, the first link was too generic. Use this one!

Thank you, errorofjudgement as well. Dd did well in her A levels but missed her original choice by one grade. We settled down to go through a long arduous day of clearing, and the first phone call she made to a University about a course that she really liked the sound of resulted in an offer being made there and then.
