Choosing a course

Hi all,

The season for Open Days is nearly upon us, and there will be lots of students trying to choose universities to visit and trying to decide on what course they want to study.

We've tried to make the decision of choosing a course a bit easier with this infographic which sets the questions anyone deciding on a course need to ask - uea.co/courses-mumsnet. With thousands to choose from it's not always an easy task!

We've also added some context to the infographic here - uea.co/courseblog-mumsnet. With UCAS expecting five choices by either October or January next year there's going to be a lot of research involved, and so we think this will come in handy :)

you've missed the section on the dangers of mortar board tossing. and of course prospective students attitudes towards sugar, starbucks, sombreros and six nations rugby. a dodgy Third at best I'm afraid :)

One of the user experience questions from UAE says "other universities websites". They missed off the plural possessive apostrophe. "Other universities' websites". Oh dear. Someone needs to get back to the drawing board.

Both my DDs loved UEA and Norwich when we went to an open day a couple of years back. The only reason for it not making the final 5 was the very long distance from home.
