Manchester accomadation

Has anyone any insight into this?
DS only made them his firm choice yesterday and I'm looking at accomadation now.
He got it into his head that he wanted Oak House as someone at an open day told him it was the best. It looks huge and is described as 'sociable', which in my head is a euphemism for 'noisy'.
DS has AS and I'm sure would be better off somewhere quieter. He wants catered so that rules it out thankfully. Wink
Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Smile

Hi Missdemel - the link above has lots of information. We went to an accommodation day and DD has selected Fallowfield campus as it looks the liveliest but she has selected a quieter hall there. She has picked self catering though.

I think one of the Victoria Park halls would suit him better as they tend to be quieter and also closer to the University for lectures.

We were looking at Fallowfield as he's not bothered about being far away from the Uni, he'd have walked in, he walks 3 miles to and from school everyday, but after looking at hellsbells link, Victoria Park sounds better.
He wants catered as he hates shopping. Smile

DD has put Sheavyn House as her favourite (self catered) - I personally liked Ashbourne Hall which was catered and had a grand piano in the dining hall!

That looks nice hellsbells, I'm so confused now! it would be great to be able to go and see them all, there are very few photos on the website.
