Posted before about dd2 being an all rounder and finding a level choices a pain. She doesn't know what she wants to do At uni either.
Having been through this with the other 2 and them ending up on " non mainstream" courses ( ie not straight history or straight science to parallel exactly school subjects) ive been pointing her at more " portfolio" type degrees eg human sciences .. Careers advice outside mainstream choices at school is a bit thin on the ground - it's a very good grammar etc so has it easy with a lot of parents wanting " my son the doctor.... My daughter the lawyer" type things.
Initial plans were A2 in music history english and maths. A heavy written load and, apart from the maths, slightly risky due to the lack of clear " right or wrong answers" which you get with sciences.
Mock results great - A and A s as expected. But of course the s are sciences.... So now she's dithering again!
What does the wisdom of mn suggest she thinks about/ looks at either to focus her uni plans or settle her A level choices?
( she honestly doesn't know and, apart from being desperate to drop MFL due to shyness amd geog because of the teacher would enjoy anything!) oh and doesn't want to persue music as sees it as a choice to go into teaching - which is probably correct really)
