I've heard that SCHS's new head is trying to improve the academic standards. Is this true? I'm tutoring a child who is very average in her state primary. Her family have been told she'd probably get in and the SCHS I know, I'd agree but am worried that if they're trying to increase the academic standards, she might not now get in. I know of one family who took their daughter out of the Junior School as they didn't like the changes taking place. I love the school and feel we don't need yet another highly academic school in London as those less-academic but lovely girls will struggle to get into other schools.
