Has anyone heard of ncfe awarding body? There is a course I want to do but it's important that the awarding body is well established and repeatable.

Are they well known?

I am familiar with edexcel and OCR but not ncfe.

Any information would be appreciated Grin

Yes, I have heard of it! My daughter was put through a level 2 NCFE course before she started her level 3 BTEC. All her college students were.

I can't help anymore than that though.

I have a NCFE IT qualification, but had never heard of it before I did it.

Mine was only a relatively low level (2) distance learning course, but they seemed fine.

Thank you both for the replies Grin

It seems like they are Mot as well known as ocr and edexcel

They are very well known and well used in my region - both local colleges (one of which is also a uni centre) and the community learning dept run by the local authority deliver NCFE qualifications. They generally seem to be level 1-4 qualifications.
