Can anyone help with SilverCross Buffet high chair?

DS is 7.5m and I still feel like he doesn’t fit in it?! 🤔 even at its most upright position it’s still slightly reclined and he pulls himself forward to try and eat 😓 and his elbows are tucked away down behind the tray because the tray sits so high so he finds it hard to reach for food etc!

We started weaning at 6m and he was having such a hard time in the chair that it was putting him off eating. Had to go out and buy another chair that he could reach properly in. Figured he might still be a little too short for it. He’s now 7.5m, eats like a champ, and is on 75th centile for height...tried him in the chair again this morning and again he was so fussy and uncomfy and couldn’t eat properly. Surely he can’t still be too short for it? Or is there something I’m supposed to adjust to raise him up a bit that I’m missing?

Has anyone else had issues?!
