Interview tomorrow - have been told its a casual office

What does this mean? was just gonna wear white shirt and black trousers. Worried about interview, now this is adding to my worries - HELP, job is for audio typist btw

how dressy is the shirt? if not too dressy that sounds fine. even though i worked in a casual office, it was nice to see people who i was interviewing turning up having obviously made an effort at smart casual (despite most of us being in jeans and tshirt).

I'd still go quite smart for the interview even though office is casual - I wore a suit for my job even though it is working from home.

your outfit sounds perfect, better to be too smart for an interview than not smart enough

just asked dh and he said wear wot I wore today, cutdown and a summery top - men!!!! Thanks for your reqlies, now I can start stressing about the interview !

Smart casual all the way. If you wear formal black trousers team it with a white (new) t shirt to keep it casual - I think a shirts too formal. Otherwise a nice monsoon patterned skirt with a t shirt's nice and a cardigan. But no flip flops! Little bally shoes are always nice.

I'm sure you'll be fine and dandy!

Well update - went for interview today and the interviewer (boss) was wearing shorts!! Go back tomorrow to do a bit of typing for them to see if I like it there - wey hey - thanks for advise, glad I work trs / shirt, felt like I made a bit of an effort. Tomorrow am wearing floral skirt and pinky/redy top!
