Has anyone done Phoenix cards or anything similar?

I need to make some money alongside studying fulltime and was wondering about Phoenix Cards. There are loads of Usborne Books, Virgin Vie, Avon, Pampered Chef etc around where I live but I don't know of anyone doing cards - and the only decent card shop in the town closed recently so there should be some demand.
Just wondering if anyone has tried it and if so, what they thought. Also what does anyone think of party selling generally, I tend to cringe when yet another VV invite comes through, and don't want to feel I am putting pressure on friends to buy, but I think if you like the product and it is something genuinely useful I might be able to conquer my diffidence.

I did it for a bit - a relatively easy sell but to make a decent amount of money you have to do parties and I couldn't do evenings as my DH works long hours and didn't want to give up my weekends to it. Even so, over christmas without too much effort I made a fair bit of money.

Everyone who I know, especially with kids sends cards, Phoenix are excellent quality and very cheap compared to shops prices.
I have a friend who is a Trader and she throughly enjoys it. I can always ask her to contact you if you want any info?

Hi,

I have sold Phoenix cards for the last 5 years. I had looked at the other things people sell and hated the pressure that you had to put on friends, and wasn't keen to demo either. The cards are great though - they sell themselves,no demos required! As Coolkids says, they are fantastic quality, very reasonably priced, huge variety, always coming up with new ideas, and people always need cards. There is no pressure from the company, although obviously the more you sell, the more you make, but it is entirely up to you. You don't have to go down the coffee morning route, but it is great for getting orders together and also letting people know what there is. The company are helpful and friendly. You could go to their website and send off for an info pack that explains it all, and they will not chase you about it. Hope that helps.
