Work

Is 4 years too long!

I have always worked since 16 and when the Ds's were babies until Ds2 started school. I then decided to have a year off as was sick of being stressed out and running from pillar to post and not doing well in any area of my life. Well that was 4 years ago and I have had a great time not working but feel I should now go back part time. I used to work in HR, mostly administration, but the last job was team leader. Has anyone any advice as where I can start. Will it go against me that I have had 4 years off (although I have worked for most of my 45 years). Just feel completely lacking in confidence and don't know where to start. Any help would be great. I do have up to date c.v.
Thanks.

My df had 18 years off and got the first job she was offered (part time as well). Shouldn't go against you - have confidence and you'll get a job.

You should see it as 4 years off 'traditional' working but you've not been doing nothing in those 4 years - sell yourself . It certainly wouldn't go against you where I work - experience is invaluable.
