My dd has just started school and I find myself with some spare time. I have a long term health condition which flares up unpredictably, so don't want a regular formal job with an employer, where I might have to let them down. But I'm keen to make some pennies, but don't have a clue what is possible in my circumstances.
I was a teacher before becoming ill. I tried supply, but found I was having to cancel too often which wasn't fair on the school. I'd like to do a low-stress, fairly low energy sort of thing. I like organising, filing etc, but have very basic keyboard skills. I'm well-spoken(so I've been told!) but lack confidence in my own abilities, so just can't work out what I can offer, that someone would want, other than my time.
I'm in the process of finding out about Usborne books, but can't think of anything else. Cleaning would be too physically demanding, and my ironing is too awful to charge someone for!
Ok, wonderful Mnetters, any ideas?????
Am off to collect dd, but will check back later.
