REDUCED (adjusted) HOURS

Hi all

I am due to go back to work next week; so my GP and I have decided that it is best for me for return on adjusted hours (due to being off on sick leave 6+ months) for the time being.

Will this mean that I will receive a pay cut?
Or would I receive full pay?

I’m not sure where I can find this information.

If anyone know, please comment. Thank you

Depends where you work.
I'm NHS and you would still get full pay depending on how long you worked there I believe.

Has your employer agreed that you can go back on reduced hours?

It depends on your company sick pay policy.

It will depend on your employer and your contract.

If you’ve negotiated reduced hours you’ll probably be paid for the hours you do, or the proportion of your hours e.g 0.6 of FTE salary.

If you have negotiated a phased return, over a number of weeks, you may get full pay or you may only be paid for the hours/days you work - this will depend on your contract.

Surely you wouldn't be paid for full time hours if you've asked to do less than that? Or am I missing something?

Has your employer agreed
Depends on your contract bu I would expect to be paid for the hours worked
