My jobshare colleague is deadweight at best

Just another mumsnet rant after nothing seemingly being done about an underperforming colleague.
I was thrilled that me and another girl were able to jobshare after returning back to work from maternity leave. I'm a single mum and though claiming benefits would be financially better right now I wanted to persue my career and set and sample for my son.
However since coming back things have been getting worse and worse.
My colleague has made a year of mistakes and still does that spend alot of time fixing. I just got on with it without mentioning it at first But in recent months the girl has barely 20% attendance when she only works three days a week so the increase in work load due to her common absences and errors are taking it toll.
She takes off every time she has a cold, uses her kids as an excuse (though her mother looks after them and she has a husband who could share this her. She's open with me for telling me why shes off. She often comes in almost an hour late on the day we lap over so I wouldn't be surprised If She does this when I'm not here too .
She also sits on all the hard work until it's are change over day and dumps it on me. In fact she hardly does anything at all. I've realised that she's been spending work hours do work for a course were both on, however I've not been able to use any work time for course work due to the amount of work I have. It's really just infuriating me now.
I've spoken to one of the managers about it as other team members have expressed their annoyance at all the reasons above, they all tell me they know I've done all the work and that she fobs the challenging work on to me and that her absences havnt gone unnoticed.
My manager is a really nice guy and I've brought it up to him, he supported me and told me not to stress myself out because be knows she should be doing the work to and he's aware. However nothing's changed. I'm feeling overwhelmed and unmotivated. Someone else is getting all this paid time off while I work twice as hard whilst she under performs even if she bothers to turn up. finding another job is not an option as finding part time opportunities are few and far between and they are also supporting my studies plus I love my team but by not who I share my role with. I don't know what else I can do, apart from rant 😂

@xcxcsophiexcxc

No words of comfort I'm afraid but just wanted to let you know I am in the exact same situation as you and I agree it is infuriating.

We do half days with half hour handover each day, sometimes I struggle to see what she actually does, I spend the first hour of my shift sorting out her mistakes and replying to emails she ignores.

And yes this one also takes a lot of time of sick, the latest one was because her daughter got scratched by a cat - her daughter is 27!
