Work

Ideas??

I'm looking for ideas on what I can do really. I'm not in the best situation, currently pregnant and have a disabled child.

My son gets dla and I'm classed as his carer. It's up for renewal next year and there's no guarantee it will be renewed which means will lose my career allowance which is my source of income.

I've seen so many people getting declined at their renewal time, I just want to prepare myself for next year when it's time for our renewal. There's nothing to say my son won't get a renewal but anyway...

Going back to actual work isn't an option for me. I'll have a baby and a disabled child. I need to do something ideally working from home.

Ideas? I could travel about from place to place while my son is at school but with a baby in tow....

I don't know, I'm just panicking. Dh has a good job but we do need my carers in order to survive. Also we will lose ctc if renewal doesn't go through.

You will be entitled to income support for the next couple of years due to having a baby so plenty of time to form a plan of action

My husband earns too much to claim income support unfortunately. We just need to make up about £300 a month - if we lose everything disability related

Childminder?

It would help if you gave us some idea of your skills and experience.

Retail and a bit of admin. I've been a carer for 7 years now. I'd just need to work between school hours. I couldn't do anything like child minding due to my son and his needs. I feel very limited to what I could actually do
