Hi,
I want out of the NHS due to awful hours (it never used to be like this) and the fact I am working almost every full weekend and getting my days off after nightshifts (so tired when I am off). I am not spending hardly any time with my 2 children as they are at school when I am off. DH also works weekends so we have little time together. We have no grandparents (all RIP) so life is tough right now. I am also contracted for 37.5 hrs a week but am often working well over 60hrs. Had enough of it.
We have made the decision that I will leave the NHS and try and get into something that is M-F with no nights/weekends and general office hours. I am thinking of doing a Masters degree to go into epidemiology or data science. Has anyone done anything similar, successfully?
