I'm just finishing my MA in counseling psychology in the US and will be heading home to London in the autumn. My whole mental health network is in California as I was in a different career before I left.
I'd love to hear from anyone else who has recently started in the field with any tips on finding jobs and placements. I've been working with adolescents in a school setting for the past year, and was working on a suicide prevention line before that. I'm also keen to get more experience working with new mothers, either with PND or attachment issues.
Any thoughts, tips, things to watch out for gratefully appreciated!
